Communication Therapy at ASK Therapy Services is motivating and engaging, and often involves movement. We offer the following services to clients of all ages:
Voice Therapy:
- Techniques such as SPEAK OUT!, and the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT LOUD) help improve vocal intensity and clarity for our clients with diagnoses such as Parkinson’s.
- Exercises to strengthen vocal cords and improve breath support.
Articulation and Speech Clarity Enhancing intelligibility for clients with developmental delays or disorders due to stroke or brain injury :
- Articulation Delays

- Fluency Disorders
Language Disorders and Delays : Enhancing communication efficiency for clients with language developmental delays or due to a disorder following stroke.
- Expressive Language Disorders
- Receptive Language Disorders

- Gestalt Language Processors
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC): For preverbal clients, or to facilitate language for clients who have had a stroke or other diseases.
- Use of devices or apps for those who may need assistance in expressing themselves.
- Device Training: Individuals and caregivers trained on AAC use
- Integration: Using AAC in functional daily activities to improve communication, promote independence, and enhance social interactions, helping individuals express themselves more effectively.
- Continuous Support: Adjustments made to the AAC plan as the individual’s needs evolve.
