I am so glad you found us! 

I am Shannon Kaplan, a Speech Language Pathologist and founder of A.S.K. Therapy Services LLC. 

Since 2007, I have been assisting children to find their voice through motivational activities that incorporate play and movement which all began as a PATH registered instructor through equine assisted activities.

In 2018 I became a Speech Language Pathologist and began working with adults learning to regain skills lost through stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury or diseases such as Parkinsons.

Today I continue to partner with families to encourage their loved ones to communicate to the best of their ability.

I, like you, am a caregiver.  My mother lives in my home and I understand the sacrifices and struggles that often accompany this role, however I also have discovered that there can be no greater joy than encouraging someone to be the best they can be, despite a diagnosis.   

I not only have a heart for my clients but I have a heart for caregivers.

I am certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA), and am licensed to practice in Oregon and Washington.  I am native to the Pacific Northwest and am a wife, mother, and Granni to the most important people in the world and probably the most adorable.   

Most importantly, I am a Christ lover and follower who believes that He has designed each of us for a unique purpose in life, no matter our ability, and I hope that each encounter with you is filled with encouragement, inspiration, and practical application as we work together to meet goals that are important and individualized.  The following is a list of some of my certifications and education:
